Welcome to Durban, Puglia Cheese!
Born
out of necessity: the need was for truly authentic Italian ingredients in South Africa.... and now the divine Puglia Cheese is available directly from me in Durban.

BURRATA
Absolute
perfection. They say that great things come in small packages, and this is
certainly the case with our Burrata. Burrata is an handmade mozzarella ball
filled, with ripped mozzarella soaked in double cream, ready to ooze out over
your warm spinach and pinenut pasta or to be crumbed and deep -fried. If served
fresh as is; drizzle with good quality olive oil, season and enjoy with warm
bread. Serve only once at room temperature.
FIOR DI LATTE (125GR BALLS)
FIOR
DI LATTE is a traditionally shaped mozzarella ball; a pure white, soft, fresh
cheese. It is often served sliced in a tri-colour (three colours) salad, made up
of red tomatoes, white mozzarella and green avocado - the colours of Italy. Even
though the tri-colour salad is not a traditional italian salad, it's colourful
and tasty blend of ingredients, makes it nevertheless a tribute to its country
of origin
Also
available SMOKED FIOR DI LATTE

CACIOTTA (SEMI-HARD)
CACIOTTA (SEMI-HARD)
Each cheese producing
village in South Italy has their own version of CACIOTTA - Unique to each
village's cheese maker's skill and taste. Puglia cheese has therefore also
produced its unique CACIOTTA in honour of the new country that hosts it - and named her PRIMO FIORE ,'First flower'. She is soft, creamy and leaves one
with a milky aftertaste that lingers long enough to blend with any preserves or
jelly she might be served with and a dry Chardonnay with it's slightly fruity
flavour is the perfect complement to this unique cheese.
Call me to try this delish cheese,
Tracey

I simply have to share this image from Sate Magazine. Cheese lends itself to artistic expression, and why not - the cheeses worth presenting on your table are pure artistic, artisan craft!
